Jason E. Hazuda

Jason E. Hazuda, 47 of Greensburg, passed away, Tuesday, April 22, 2025. He was born on June 28, 1977 in Connellsville a son of Shirley (Miske) Hazuda and the late Edward Hazuda.

Jason was employed by Hitachi Energy as a lab technician. He was a graduate of Connellsville High School Class of 1995 and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University. A true outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hiking and camping. Jason was a craftsman in woodworking and an avid gun collector. He was also a talented musician having played the saxophone, bass, guitar and drums. He also cherished the company of his friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Hazuda.

Jason is survived by his loving wife, Theresa (Moats) Hazuda, his mother, Shirley Hazuda, his father and mother-in-law, George and Lorraine Moats, brother-in-law, George Moats, Jr. his niece, Makenzie Moats and nephew, Cody Dice.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 1-3 and 5-7 pm in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC. 524 N. Main St., Greensburg, where his funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 am. Interment will follow in Brush Creek Cemetery. Online condolences are welcome at www.kepplegraft.com
