Jean Walter Blice peacefully left us on November 10, 2022 at the age of 91. She was born on June 17, 1931 in Pennsylvania the daughter of the late John DeWitt Walter and Dorothy Walter.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Richard Blice, her son, Nathan Blice, and grandson, Jason Blice.
She is survived by her son, Joel DeWitt Blice (Ellen) of South Carolina, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jean earned her teaching degree from Thiel College. She served as a pastor’s wife and member of First Presbyterian of Greensburg. She enjoyed serving on the handbell choir for many years and served as an Elder, Deacon, and Clerk of Session. Jean also was an active member of Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO). Jean enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey games.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 18th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Kepple Graft Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 19th at 4pm at First Presbyterian Church, 300 South Main Street, Greensburg, PA, 15601. Jean's memorial service will be live streamed via the First Presbyterian Church, Greensburg Facebook page. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Westmoreland County Food Bank. Burial is private.
