Jean K. Crosby

Jean K. Crosby, 95 of Greensburg, passed away Monday, September 4, 2023.  She was born March 2, 1928 in Hannastown a daughter of the late Charles and Anna Marie (Beck) Keenan.

Jean started her career with Bell Telephone, but the remainder of her life she was a loving wife, mother and homemaker.  She was an active and faithful member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Greensburg where she belonged to the Chat and Sew Group, the Martha Committee and Meals on Wheels for which she baked cookies.  An avid reader, Jean was also a talented knitter.  She and her late husband, Skip, also enjoyed traveling in their motorhome and to their cottage.

She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Kathrine Wolfe and her husband, David; her granddaughter, Carrie Jackson and her husband, Patrick and a great-granddaughter soon to be born; also, several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene T. “Skip” Crosby, two sisters, Kathrine Bierer and Esther Brown, and five brothers, Howard, Harry, Charles, Richard, and Lou Keenan.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday from 4 to 7pm in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC 524 N. Main St Greensburg.  Jean’s funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 am in the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 501 Fairfield D. Greensburg, with Pastor Paul Gruesu officiating.  Private interment will take place in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.  Memorials may be made to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.  Online condolences are welcome at www.kepplegraft.com
