Jeannine Lakin

Jeannine Mae Lakin, 69 of South Greensburg, passed away on Saturday at her home surrounded by her loving family .

She was born on 3/24/1943 in Greensburg and was the daughter of the late Virgil and Sally Trout Smith.

Jeannine was a member of the South Greensburg United Methodist Church and past president of the South Greensburg V.F.D. Ladies Aux. She had been retired from the Westmoreland Manor.

She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years Thomas R. Lakin Sr. and her daughter Terri Reese and husband George and her two sons, Thomas R. Lakin Jr. and friend Vera and Jay A. Lakin and fiancAC.e Diane. Ten grandchildren, Kacie, Brittney, Nicole, Robert, Ty, Kelsey, Taylor, Rachel, Mandi and Tony. Also two brothers Dean Smith and wife Gloria and Bill Smith and wife Cheryl and a sister Beverly Todaro and husband Jerry and sister-in-law Donna Garrison and husband Gregg and brother in law Ron Lakin. Several nieces , nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins.

Family and Friends will be received on Monday from 4 till 8 PM at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg, (an authorized remembrance provider).

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10 am in the funeral home with Rev. Edwin Herald officiating.

Interment will follow in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park.

Jeannine's family wishes to thank Dr. Waas and his staff for all their care and compassion given to Jeannine and the her family.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, 510 Pellis Road, Greensburg,Pa.
