Jim "James" D. France, 64, of Greensburg, died Thursday, January 29, 2015 in UPMC East, Monroeville.
He was born July 10, 1950 in Washington, Kansas, a son of the late Merrill and Florence Wright Cain.
Prior to retirement, he was employed as a database administrator for UPMC, Pittsburgh. He was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greensburg. Jim was also a member of Westmoreland Masonic Lodge # 518 and the Steel City Corvette Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Bush France in 2008; 2 sisters, Betty Arendes and Mary Seago and an infant brother Merrill. Jim is survived by 2 daughters, Stephanie Ann France of Greensburg and Andrea Brown of Delmont; 3 grandsons, Jared, Cameron and Zander Brown; a brother, Robert Marion Cain (Margaret) of England; a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 1-5 PM at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 AM in the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 246 South Main Street, Greensburg with Pastor Jerry Nuernberger officiating.
Interment will be held in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
