Joan Kuhns
August 27, 1927 — October 29, 2011
Joan S. Kuhns, 84 of Greensburg passed away on Saturday 10/29/11 in the Nature Park Commons in Hempfield Twp.
She was born in Latrobe on 8/27/1927 and was the daughter of the late Clyde and Viola Stumpf.
Joan was a retired assistant purchasing agent for the former Timken / Latrobe Steel Corp. in Latrobe.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Greensburg and enjoyed her knitting and spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Joan was preceded in death besides her parents by her husband Jack H. Kuhns , a grandson Eric Tepper and two sisters, Phyllis Thompson and Thelma Stahl.
Surviving are her two daughters, Jackie Tepper and husband Andy and Paula Marsteller and husband Bruce and four grandchildren Tim Lotinsky and wife, Angie, Kim and Katie Marsteller , Ryan Tepper and wife, Nicole along with two great grandchildren Jackson Lotinsky and Hudson Tepper.
Family and friends will be received on Monday from 6 to 8 pm
at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home,( an authorized remembrance provider) 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg.
Additional visitation will be in the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 am till 11 am at which time services will begin at 11 am with the Rev. W. Stephen Morse officiating. .
Entombment will be in the St. Clair Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church (Food Pantry Fund) 15 E. Second St. Greensburg, Pa. 15601.
