Joann Liebermann, 84, of Greensburg, passed away Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, in Excela Westmoreland Hospital, with her loving family by her side. Grandma Jo was born Dec. 30, 1933, in Macon County, N.C., a daughter of the late Clyde and Margie Roper Johnson. She was preceded in death by her sister, Roberta Williams (Eben). She is survived by two brothers, Buddy Johnson (Millie), of Marathon, N.Y., and Bob Johnson (Meredith), of Media; one sister, Wanda Austin (Jim), (Dog Maxwell), of Greensburg; two daughters, Roxanne Liebermann, of Laurel, Md., and Gina Masarik (Ron), of Greensburg; four grandchildren, Roger Gindlesperger (Maryann), of Plainfield, Ind., Tom Murphy (Amanda), of Pittsburgh, Tim Murphy (Evy), of Greensburg, and Ronnie Masarik, of Greensburg; three great-grandchildren, Ayanna, Kyle, and Kaylie Gindlesperger; along with many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed yearly trips to the beach and was an avid Steelers fan who attended Steelers training camp every season. In the 1970s, she was a bar manager for the 19th Hole at Mission Inn, in Latrobe, where Steelers players often came after practice. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018, at First Baptist Church, 1228 Brinkerton Road, Greensburg. Arrangements are being handled by KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME INC., in Greensburg. Contributions may be made to the American Stroke Association.
