Joella Black

Joella Black, of Greensburg, died, Thursday, November 9, 2023. She was born, October 24, 1948, in Uniontown, a daughter of the late Joseph Soom and Agnes Jupina Soom. Joella, along with her husband, was co-owner of Total Restoration Service in Greensburg. She loved being with her family and helping her customers. Joella enjoyed to garden and travel, especially her trips to Las Vegas, and seeing the Beatles LOVE Show. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Mark Soom and Joe Soom, Jr.  Joella is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert J. “Bob” Black; her sons, Robert Black, Jr.,  Shawn Black (Liz) and Christopher Black (Melissa); 2 grandchildren, Vivienne and Julianna Black; her brother, Tim Soom, (Sally); also, several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm at Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street, Greensburg. A funeral service for Joella will be held on Wednesday at 10 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
