John Dunn

John A. "Jack" Dunn, 82 of Greensburg passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening March 1, 2011.

Jack was born Friday, February 1, 1929 in Paterson, N.J. and was the son of the late Edward J. and Nettie Benn Dunn.
He had served in the Army during WW II.
Prior to his retirement, Jack was employed by State Farm Insurance Co. both in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church , The National Assoc. of Chartered Life Underwriters and the Pennsylvania Chartered Underwriters. He was a former member of the Greensburg Country Club and the Greensburg Elks Lodge and Knights of Columbus.

Jack was preceded in death besides his parents by his brother Edward Jr. in 1948 and a sister Cathryn D. Calvert in 1989 and a brother Robert in 1998.

Jack is survived by his wife, Joan Bouchier Dunn and three sons, Michael and wife Susan of Mt. Lebanon, Douglas and wife Suzan of Whitehall, and Jerry Dunn and wife Andrea of Westlake Village, Calif..along with the loves of his life his grandchildren, Bryan, Philip, Andrew, Catherine, Elizabeth, Leslie, Lexi and Gabriella.

Family and Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg.
A prayer service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 9:30 am followed by a funeral mass in Our Lady of Grace Church at 10 am .
Entombment to follow in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to either the Our Lady Of Grace Food Bank, 1001 Mt. Pleasant Rd. Greensburg or the Heartland Hospice, 3520 RT #130 #3, Irwin, Pa. 15642.
