John T. Kiss, 61 of Greensburg, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 31, 2013. During the several days prior, John was surrounded by his family, friends, and even got to meet for the first time his first born grandchild.
He was born May 10, 1952 in Budapest, Hungary, son of the late John and Mary (Schieszl) Kiss .
John was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church.
He worked as a Controller for Kennametal.
Surviving are his loving wife, Jeanne (Lynn), his sons, Stephen J. Kiss and wife, Wendi (Ahlemeyer) and Michael G. Kiss and wife, Carly (Petrarca); granddaughter, Zoe Ann Kiss; brothers, Laslo Kiss and wife, Alla, Frank Kiss and wife, Judy, father and mother-in-law, Franklin D. Lynn and Lois W. Lynn, brother-in-laws, Franklin D. Lynn, Jr. and wife, Nancy and David W. Lynn and wife, Barbara also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and his Golden Retriever, Sampson.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 North Main Street Greensburg.
Services will be held at Our Lady of Grace 1011 Mt. Pleasant Road, Greensburg on Thursday at 11:00 am with Father Daniel Blout officiating (Everyone please go directly to church).
Interment will follow in the St. Clair Cemetery with military honors provided by VFW Post 33 of Greensburg.
