Joseph J. 'Bud' Bishop, Jr. 73 of Hempfield Township, sunset on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at his home.
Sun rise on July 16, 1940 in Greensburg, PA, he was the son of the late Matilda A. (McFeaters) and Joseph J. Bishop, Sr.
Bud was a life member of the North Hempfield Fire Department and an auxiliary member. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his wife, Eileen (McManus) Bishop; sister, Joanne Cole; special niece, Weslie A. Baird; special daughter, Sarah Chen and family and also his beloved pets, J.W., Yum Yum, Alannah, Dakota, and Jazz.
Bud's family would like to give a special thank you to his doctors for their care these last weeks, Dr. Robert Gerger, Dr. James Adisey, and Dr. George BouSamra.
Family and friends will be received Sunday from 2- 4pm & 6 - 8 pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 North Main Street Greensburg.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 2pm.
Interment will follow in the St. Clair Cemetery with military honors provided by VFW Post 33 for Greensburg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Orphans of the Storm 11878 Pennsylvania 85, Kittanning, PA 16201.
