Joseph G. Giron, 73 of Greensburg, passed away, Thursday, November 1, 2012 in The Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Hempfield Twp..
He was born November 22, 1938 in Greensburg, son of the late George and Lena Musingo Giron .
Joe was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral and a member and past officer of the former Westmoreland County Sheriff's Reserve Unit and member and past officer of the Knights of Columbus Council # 1480 in Greensburg.
He worked as a Accountant for Helms Express and later for the Westmoreland Cultural Trust .
Surviving are his wife, Frances J. Giron, a son Christopher J. Giron and wife, Denise a daughter Lisa M. Adams and husband, Brian, and grandchildren, Matthew J. Giron, Olivia L. and Ian J. Adams all of Greensburg.
Family and friends will be received Sunday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 North Main Street Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
A prayer service will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 9 am followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated
at the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, 300 N. Main Street, Greensburg beginning at 9:30 am.
Interment will follow in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
