Josephine M. Calderone, 80, formerly of Greensburg, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012, at her son's home in New York. She was born Oct. 28, 1931, in Natrona Heights, a daughter of the late Peter Bernard and Josephine (Leskoban) Rubus. Josephine was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Calderone Sr.; son, Richard L. Calderone Jr.; a sister; and two brothers. Surviving are her son, John Calderone and his wife, Gitanjali Pande, of New York; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 N. Main St., Greensburg, where a funeral liturgy will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday with Monsignor Raymond E. Riffle officiating. Private interment will take place in Riverview Cemetery, Apollo. Terence L. Graft, funeral director, entrusted with the arrangements.
