Judith Ann Brines, 65 formerly of Jeannette passed away on 6/10/09 in New Jersey. On the longest day of the year, June 21, 1943, the world was blessed with the birth of one special lady- Judith Ann Toth. She was the daughter of Joseph and Anna Toth of Jeannette, PA. Judy passed into God's hands June 10th after a valiant ten year battle against cancer. She fought with vigor and always had a smile on her face. Judy birthed two sons, Todd Shevchik of Lexington, SC and Craig Shevchik of Greensburg, with her first husband Millan Charles Shevchik Jr. and has five grandchildren: Joey, Jenna, Luke, Noah and Anna, that were fortunate to call her Grandma. She has been married to Robert Brines of Berlin, NJ for the last 15 years and has a step-daughter Sara. Bob Brines described the essence of Judy when he said that she made him a better person. God's gift to Judy was that she made you want to become better. She loved to laugh and was extremely fun to be around.
