Karl W. Werley, 54 of Greensburg, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2011 in Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh..
He was born Thursday, February 14, 1957 in Pittsburgh, Son of William T. Werley and Mary F. Werley.
He was a member of the Steamfitter's Union #449 and had been a hockey coach for the Westmoreland Eagles and also Norwin Knights and Greensburg Central Catholic Hockey teams. .
Surviving are his loving wife, Victoria Werley and children Michael , Jennifer and Matthew Werley, three Sisters, Mary DeLuca and husband Ed, Maureen Lake and husband Dave, and Carolyn Sorracco and husband Rich, two Brothers, Paul Werley and wife Diane, and Bill Werley along with several nieces and nephews.
There will be no public visitation. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Chapel, (Bishop Connare Center) Route # 30 east of Greensburg on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 9 am .
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The American College of Gastroenterology (www.acg.gi.org) for research and prevention of Gastric Cancer.
