Katherine E. Thropp, 97 of Greensburg passed away, Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Nature Park Commons.
She was born November 20, 1918 in Greensburg, PA, daughter of Robert L. and Jane (Zimmerman) Markle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Thropp and her sisters, Margaret 'Peg' Demi and Jean Rogenmoser.
Surviving are her sons, Robert S. Thropp of Greensburg, Thomas H. Thropp of Treasure Lake, PA and Raymond M. Thropp of Maryland, daughter, Sally Viltrakis of Phoenix, AZ; seven grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren, and three Great great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday from noon until 2 pm in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC. 524 N. Main St. Greensburg, where her funeral service will be held at 2pm. Burial will follow in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
