Kathleen Stevenson Brown of Greensburg passed away on Monday 1/16/2012 in the Westmoreland Manor.
She was born in Greensburg on 3/20/1935 and was the daughter of the late Andrew Hunter Stevenson and Mary Gibson Stevenson Morgan.
Kathleen was a retired office administrator for the Peterson Hand Writing Company.
She was an active member of the Norvelt Women's Golf League and enjoyed her reading, crafts, antiquing and attending the opera .
Kathleen was preceded in death besides her parents by her husband James E. Brown III and her daughter Leslie Brown her grandson Maxwell E. Brown and a sister Mary Jane Rich
Surviving are her children Steven Brown of Greensburg, Michael Brown of Conn.,Susan Chouinard and husband Yves of Quebec, Scott Brown and wife Rona (Beluschok) of Greensburg and J. Patrick Brown and wife Tara of Pittsburgh and her grandchildren Margaret, Ryan and Patrick Brown and a sister Twila Stevenson of Greensburg.
Kathleen's family wishes to thank Dr. Thomas DeGregory and the staff of Westmoreland Manor for their excellent care and compassion given their mother.
Family and Friends will be received at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. .
Services will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 10 am with Rev. Martin Ankrum officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. Clair Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society .
