Kathryn "Kay" Brown, 88 of Greensburg passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 in Westmoreland Manor with her family by her side.
She was born Tuesday, February 6, 1923 in Youngwood., a daughter of the late William E. Ludwick Sr. and Marjorie Fowler Ludwick.
She was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and was an avid attendee of water aerobics at Lynch Field in Greensburg.
Kay was a retired employee from the Sheraton Four Points Hotel in Greensburg.
She was preceded in death besides her parents by her husband, Raymond S. Brown Sr. and brothers William Jr. and Rev. John Ludwick.
Surviving are her children Kathy Black and husband Richard of Latrobe, Raymond Brown Jr. and wife Carol of Greensburg, Timothy " T.C." Brown and partner Victor Capone of Pittsburgh, three Grandchildren Rosalyn Money and husband Jared, Ted Black and Jesse Brown and wife Nicole, two Great Grandchildren Raymond Brown III and Landon Richard Miney.
Kay's family would like to thank the staff of Westmoreland Manor for their care and compassion for their mother.
Family and Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg.
Services will be held in the Funeral Home on Friday, at 10:30 am with Rev. Frank Podolinski officiating.
Interment will follow in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Meorial Fund, 501 Fairfield Drive Greensburg.
