Lee Ann Baker, 77, of Greensburg, passed away on Tuesday August 14, 2012. Lee Ann was born February 17, 1935, the daughter of the late Paul W, Kelly and Dorothy J. (Chambers) Kelly. Besides her parents, Lee Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Robert I. Baker in 2011. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend who touched the hearts of all that were fortunate enough to know her. We were blessed with her quick Irish wit, humor and intelligence. An Alumnus of George Washington High School, Alexandria, Virginia 1951, Nursing was her long time childhood dream, in 1955 she graduated from Alexandria Hospital School of Nursing. Lee Ann continued her nursing career for many year, retiring from Latrobe Hospital in 1996. Lee Ann was a published author, "Threads of History and Heritage", which she was very proud of.

Lee Ann is survived by her loving children, daughter, Kelly L Genard and husband, Robert of Youngwood, and grandchildren Steven Genard and wife, Kim of Irwin and Nathan and his girlfriend, Allison Lachet of Pittsburgh whom she loved very much, her loving son Robert A. Baker and wife, Deborah of Greensburg and stepgrandsons, Alan and Jered Shick also of Greensburg.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 6-8pm and on Friday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 North Main Street Greensburg, Pennsylvania.

Services will be held on Saturday at 10am at the funeral home with Rev. Aimee Twigg officiating.

Interment will follow in the St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
