Leoda M. Brewer, 83 of Jeannette passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2011 in Greensburg.
She was born Thursday, December 22, 1927 in Greene County and was the Daughter of the late Artie Hixenbaugh Burnfield and step father Roscoe Burnfield.
Leoda was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Greensburg and the Order of Eastern Star Chapter # 435, the Westmoreland Shrine # 8 and Amaranth along with the West Penn Chrysanthemum Society and former member of the Dry Ridge Garden Club.
She formerly did many years of volunteer work for the Torrance State Hospital.
She was preceded in death besides her parents by her husband, Everett A. Brewer in 2002.
Surviving are her Son Graydon Brewer and his wife Carol of Oakmont , three Grandchildren Kelsey, Kristin and Kyle Brewer a Brother, Stanley Burnfield and wife Sally of Greensburg and a Sister, Noreen Acklin of Waynesburg along with several Nieces and Nephews.
Family and Friends will be received at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main St. Greensburg on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 and Friday from noon till 1 pm where services will begin at 1 pm with Rev. Donna Havrisko officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Twin Valley Memorial Park.
