Leonard L. Korhnak, 87, of Greensburg, passed away Friday, July 5, 2013 in Excela Latrobe Hospital. He was born February 14, 1926 in Munhall the only son of Paul and Susanna (Havay) Korhnak.
Len retired from Westinghouse Electric Corp in 1986 and was a veteran of World War II serving in the European Theater.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Leonard Paul Korhnak and a sister, Pauline Simcik.
He is survived by his loving family, including his devoted wife, Eva (Fowler) Korhnak; daughter in law, Elizabeth Korhnak; granddaughter, Christine Korhnak; grandson, Paul Korhnak and wife Ann; great granddaughters, Corissa Bragg and Marlo Korhnak; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC. 524 N. Main St. Greensburg on Tuesday from 4-7 pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 am in Westminster Presbyterian Church 1120 Harvey Ave. Greensburg with Rev. Donna M. Havrisko officiating. VFW Post 33 will conduct military honors immediately following services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association (www.alz.org/donate) or Westminster Presbyterian Church.
