Lillian E. Mensch, 87 of Greensburg passed away Thursday 12/1/2011 at the Excela Westmoreland Hospital.
She was born on 12/1/1924 in Greensburg and was the daughter of the late Paul L. and Edythe Baker Davis.
Lillian was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Greensburg and an active member of the church choir and a noted soloist.She also was a long time member of the Greensburg Vol. Fire Dept. Hose Co. #8 Ladies Aux. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death in 1998 by her husband Ray L. Mensch.
Surviving are her loving children Judy Lucas Bitzer of Irwin, , Karen and husband Fred Pershing and Cindy and husband Larry Randolph all of Greensburg and seven Grandchildren, seven grandchildren, Terri Miscovich and husband, Peter, Tracy Dobies and husband, David, Scott Lucas and wife, Dawn, Sean Pershing and wife Nicole, Kirk Pershing, Brent Randolph, and Heidi Randolph; and five Great Grandchildren, Marcus Dobies, Ben Dobies, Haley Miscovich, Marley Lucas and Tessa Rae Pershing along with her sister, Doris Sarver and brother, Paul A. Davis both of Greensburg.
Family and Friends will be received Sunday from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 N. Main Street Greensburg, Pennsylvania.Additional visitation will be on Monday from 10 am till services begin at 10:30 am in the funeral home with Rev. Steve Morse officiating. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park.Members of the Hose Company # 8 Ladies Aux. will meet in the funeral home Sunday at 7 PM to conduct memorial services. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Westmoreland, PO Box 1552, Greensburg, Pa. 15601.
