Lois L. Diehl, 83 of Greensburg, passed away, Friday, June 09, 2017 in Excela Westmoreland Hospital. She was born February 18, 1934 in Jeannette a daughter of the late Alton and Mildred (Loughner) Leonard.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Diehl had served 26 years as a District Justice in Hempfield Township. Additionally, she held the position of secretary for the PA State District Justice Association. She had also been a former member of Ascension Catholic Church. Lois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister to her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert G. Diehl and two brothers, Donald and Alton Leonard.
She is survived by her four children, Debbie (Tom) Reichard; Barbara (Bob) Waldier; Susan (John) Lindsay; Jeffrey (Sheree) Diehl; ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a sister, Betty Giles.
Family and friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC. 524 N. Main St. Greensburg where prayers of transfer will be said on Tuesday at 9 am followed by her Funeral Mass at 9:30 am in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. Entombment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Westmoreland County Camp Cadet, 100 N. Westmoreland Ave., Greensburg, PA 15601, Attn: Cpl. Urbani.
