Lois H. White, 82 of Greensburg, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2011 at St. Anne Home in Greensburg.
She was born in South Greensburg and was a daughter of the late William and Marie (Hawse) Henkel.
She was a graduate of Greensburg High School class of 1947.
Lois was an active member of the First United Methodist Church and a former member of the Westmoreland Hospital Ladies Auxillary.
She was a retired Secretary for St. Vincent College. Lois had a passion for her cooking and painting.
Besides her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Nichols.
Surviving are her loving husband, Richard R. White, her children Beverly White Labian of Greensburg and Douglas R. White of Bradenville and three grandchildren, Kristin Labian, Emily Ann White and Drake Andrew White and one great-grandson, Conner Grant along with a niece, Nancy Nichols Garvin, and a nephew, Dr. C. Richard Nichols. Lois's family would like to thank the St. Anne Staff and friends for their wonderful care and compassion given to her over the years she was a resident there.
Family and Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME (an authorized remembrance
provider), 524 N. Main St., Greensburg. Additional viewing will be held at the church on Wednesday from 10:30 am till time of services
at 11 am at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. W. Stephen Morse officiating.
