On February 10, 1940 the world was given the gift of a beautiful baby girl. In Forbes Road Loretta M. Conaway was born to her parents, the late Violet Sprung Noble and William McKinley Noble. 72 years later, early on the morning of September 16, 2012, God took Loretta home ending her suffering after a lifetime of health struggles. She was a wonderful woman who touched the lives of so many around her. She volunteered for years ringing the bell for the Salvation Army Church. She will be missed but remembered by those who knew her. Loretta will be missed by her family and friends but we are comforted knowing that her pain is now over and she is at peace. She now spends eternity with her husband of 41 years, Lewis R. Conaway and her other loved ones that passed before; her parents, her brothers, Wayne Noble, Bob Noble, and Regis Noble.
Known by her loved ones as Mom, Mammy, and Slim she will be missed by her children, Brian Conaway, Charlotte Long and fiancAC. John Miller, and Brad Conaway and wife, Ginger Conaway, her grandchildren, Angelina Long and fiancAC. James Schmidt, Richard Long, Sara Long, and Dakota Conaway; and her great grandchildren Ariana Long, Kaleb Schmidt; and Penelope Schmidt. Also by her surviving siblings, Shirley Bear, Betty and John Crock, Virginia Fennel, and sister-in-law Diane Noble, and by many nieces, nephews, and many loving in-laws.
Though we miss her kind and loving heart and spirit, we will always remember her and cherish the time and wonderful memories we shared.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 North Main Street Greensburg, Pennsylvania where services will be held on Thursday at 10 am with Rev. Almon Birt officiating.
