Louis Miscovich

April 10, 1926 — January 2, 2015

Louis V. Miscovich, 88 of Greensburg, passed away, Friday, January 2, 2015 at his home. He was born April 10, 1926 in Mammoth a son of the late Louis M. and Josephine (Zomek) Miscovich.

Prior to his retirement, Louis was a sales manager at Sears. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the US Army Air Corps and a member of American Legion Post 446 and VFW Post 3368 of Mt. Pleasant. He was also an active volunteer for Meals on Wheels and Operation Santa Claus.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother Verna Miscovich; his wife, Marianne (Rafacz) Miscovich and a daughter in law, Suzanne Miscovich.

He is survived by a son Greg Miscovich and his wife Brenda of Marietta, OH; a granddaughter, Renee Miscovich; three step-grandchildren, Lucas, Aubrey and Emily Jackson and two sisters, Mary Lou Kurimcak and Madeline Miscovich both of Mt. Pleasant.

Family and friends will be received in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC. 524 N. Main St. Greensburg on Tuesday from 9 to 10 am when Prayers of Transfer will be recited followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 am in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg. Entombment with military honors bestowed by American Legion Post 446 will follow in St. Clair Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to Our Lady of Grace Church 1001 Mt.
