Lucille Fitzgerald Mentzer, 87 of Greensburg passed away, Monday, May 7, 2012 in Greensburg.
She was born in Charleroi on April 17, 1925 and was the daughter of the late John P. and Mary Bezy Fitzgerald.
She was a graduate of Charleroi High School and Seton Hill College and was a former teacher of Home Economics with both Fallowfield Twp. & Baldwin School Districts.
Lucille was a member of the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and former chairman of the Home Economists and Homemaking Assoc.
Besides her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her brother, Vincent Fitzgerald and by her sisters, Mary Ellen Sullivan and Betty Buckley.
She is survived by her loving husband, C. Robert Mentzer and a son, Marc S. Mentzer of Canada and two daughters, Patricia Lantzy and husband, Michael of Greensburg and Meg Clemans and her husband, Mark of Houston, TX and her grandchildren, Lori, Joseph, Jill, Lane, and Abby.
Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 4 to 7pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 North Main Street Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
Services will be held on Thursday at 10am at Our Lady of Grace 1011 Mt. Pleasant Road, Greensburg, PA with Father Paul Lisik officiating.
Interment will take place in St. Clair Cemetery
