Lucretia May (Orner) Dorsey (Cretie) 84 of Hunker Pa died on July 5, 2024, at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born March 10, 1940, in Youngwood, a daughter of the late Alfred and Grace (Johnston) Orner. Everyone will remember Cretie's smile and spirit. She gave great hugs at family gatherings and embraced everyone and made each person feel special. Cretie graduated from Hempfield Sr high in 1958 (in the school’s second graduating class). Staying involved with her community was always important. Life Spring Church and singing with Westmoreland Choral Society were her happy places. Her relationship with the Lord was strong and faith served her well. She loved her family. They were very important to her. She is survived by her daughters Robin Lin (Dorsey) Farmerie, husband John J. Farmerie Jr. and Pamela Sue Dorsey; grandchildren, Keith Farmerie (deceased), wife Angel (Baughman) Farmerie and Jennalin Miriam Farmerie; great grandchildren.Dustin Farmerie and Allen Joseph Farmerie.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Albert Dorsey.The family is welcoming relatives and friends who would like to pay their last respects on Monday from 6 to 8 pm at Life Spring Church 314 S Pennsylvania Ave Greensburg, and Tuesday from 10-11 am in the church with services immediately following. Interment will take place in Westmoreland County Memorial Park followed by a reception at Life Spring Church.In lieu of flowers family suggests donations be made to Life Spring Church or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
