Lynn Ann E. Tarris, 65 of Greensburg, died Monday, June 11, 2018.
She was born in Columbus, OH on February 16, 1953.
If you have ever been to the Arnold Palmer Pavilion at Mt. View as a patient, you undoubtedly would have seen this little beacon of hope doing what she did best-caring for others. She did so with an understanding and exuberance that few others had, for she had been one of you for the last 22 years.
It's been 13 years since she decided to become a nurse, 10 years serving as a RN, the last two at the Cancer Center in oncology, which was her dream. Lynn Ann was with the most caring and loving staff one could hope and pray for, each one a beloved sister, brother, and friend. This setting of co-workers and patients was her cathedral of hope, courage, and love of God, and she is now with many of those patients.
Surviving are her husband of 31 years and best friend, Glenn; her parents, Elmer and Jean Sprowls of Washington, PA; children, Bronson Danjou of Greensburg, Scott (Brenda) of Greensburg and "Kim" (Jeff) of Irwin; grandchildren, Colton, Aubrie, Bearett, Gaige, Iver, Lido, and Aven; brother, Keith Sprowls (Janice); "sister" Deb Neal (Bill); second best friend, Steph Huey (Barry); and her nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 10am to 11am at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg.
A memorial service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 11am with Rev. Mark A. Werner officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church 108 Dutch Hill Road, Latrobe, PA 15650.
