M. Blanche Altman 78,formerly of Greensburg, PA passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013. Born January 26, 1935 in Export PA. She was the 12th child out of 13 to the late Joseph and Matilda Stover Glunt. She will be laid to rest beside her husband, James E. Altman, Sr. and her son, James Altman, Jr.
Mrs. Altman retired with Hempfield Area School District in 1983. She was the supervisor of Janitorial Services at Wendover Jr. High School.
Blanche is survived by her daughter, Barbara Altman-Hampton of Florida, son, John Altman of Georgia and by her sister Shirley J. White of Florida.
Private internment will be held at Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
