M. Barbara Hopkins, 90 of Greensburg, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2010 surrounded by her children in Excela Hospice of Jeannette.
She was born Wednesday, July 9, 1919 in Boston, Mass., youngest of eight children of the late John and Ellen McKiernan Hall.
Barbara was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral in Greensburg.
She was preceded in death besides her parents by her husband of 32 years Donald J. Hopkins.
Surviving are her children John D. Hopkins, Ron Hopkins and wife Barbara, Ellen Hopkins Fountain and husband Ed, and Mark Hopkins and her grandchildren Thomas Hopkins and wife Susannah, Erin , Ian, Jared Hopkins, Scott Hopkins and wife Yalda, Sean Hopkins and wife Erin, Peter and John Fountain.
Family and Friends will be received at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main Street , Greensburg,
on Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM.
A prayer service will be held on Wednesday at 9 am in the funeral home followed by a funeral mass at the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral at 9:30 am.
Interment will be in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Jesuit Seminary and Mission Bureau, PO Box 9199, Watertown, Ma. 02471
