Madeline M. Williams 93 of South Greensburg died Friday 10/17/2014 in Greensburg. She was born in Southwest Greensburg on 4/4/1921 and was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Rose Margo Jim.
Madeline was the former 8th grade May Queen and a graduate of Holy Family grade school and the Latrobe High School class of 1939.
She had worked for 19 years with the Westmoreland County Board of Assistance until her retirement in 1983. She was a long time member of St. Bruno Catholic Church in South Greensburg.
In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband Charles G. Williams in 1977 , her daughter Darla Grkman and a brother Charles Jim Jr.
She is survived by her children, Charles G. (Jerrilynn) Williams Jr of Calif., David R. (Terri) Williams of Greensburg, Mark J. Williams of Philadelphia, Margo Houck and husband John of South Greensburg and a son-in-law Louis Grkman of Penn Township, thirteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and a brother Richard L. (Posey) Jim of Latrobe
Family and friends will be received on Monday from 3 to 6 pm at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 10 am at St. Bruno Catholic Church . ( Everyone go directly to the church). Interment to follow in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
