Margaret (Marjorie) Byers Dom, formerly of Greensburg; Ligonier; and Marietta, Ohio, died Friday, September 7, 2012, in the Houston Hospice, Houston, Texas. She was born June 18, 1920, a daughter of the late George E. and Margaret M. Byers. Margaret was a graduate of Greensburg High School and Hood College, Frederick, MD. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church, Friday Club, Meals On Wheels volunteer, and Pike Run Country Club.
Surviving are two sons, William T. Dom IV of Houston, TX, and George B. Dom of Napa, CA, and their wives, Lynne Whitworth and Rian Dom respectively, and four grandchildren, Henry, Isabelle, Olivia, and Denna. She was predeceased by her husband, William T. Dom, III and one son, Denna O. Dom.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, September 22 at the First Presbyterian Church, 300 S. Main St., Greensburg. Rev. Martin R. Ankrum will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Tri-City Meals On Wheels, P.O. Box 975, Greensburg, PA 15601.
