Margaret Miller

Margaret (Peggy) Brennan Miller of Unity Township died peacefully at Allegheny General Hospital on Monday September 19, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents William C. and Margaret M. Brennan of Waterbury, Connecticut. Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 45 years Phillip E. Miller, her sister Anne Brady of West Hartford, Connecticut, her daughter Jennifer Rumsey and husband Todd of Downingtown, PA , a son Nathaniel of Greensburg and her two wonderful  grandchildren Cohen and Julia Rumsey of Downingtown, PA.
Peggy was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. She was very kind and considerate to everyone she met. Peggy was quick witted and loved entertaining in her home. She enjoyed traveling and recently returned from Ireland as well as a wonderful European River Cruise. She loved vacationing on Hilton Head Island annually with her family.
Her family would like to thank the IC Unit at Allegheny General Hospital for their expertise and excellent care of Peggy.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at the St. Benedict Catholic Church, Bruno Road, Greensburg on Friday from 9:15 am till time of her funeral mass at 10 am with Father Daniel Blout as celebrant.  Interment will follow in the Unity Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Benedict Parish.
