Marian Smail

Marian K. Smail, 94 formerly of Unity Township passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at the Bethlen Home in Ligonier.

She was born May 9, 1918 in Latrobe, and was the daughter of the late Rose and Harry Mears Sr.

Marian was a life long member of Third United Church of Christ in South Greensburg and a member of Womens Fellowship of Church and was in church choir for many years. She was a member and Past Worthy Matron of O.E.S. William Gelston #435.

Besides her parents, Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Lorentz (Buddy) Smail, and sisters and brothers.

Surviving are her daughters, Carol Tullio and husband, David of Scottdale, Vicki Morgan and husband, Keith of Stevensville, MT, son, Jeffrey Smail and wife, Carole of Pasadena,MD; grandchildren, Randy Tullio and wife, Kelly of Scottdale, Kelly Jo Beistel and husband, Brandon of Greensburg, Todd Wolfe and wife, Tanya of Port Royal, PA, Jill Smail and fiance Clair Kink of Latrobe; great grandsons, Maison Wolfe and Riley Fink; great granddaughters, Natalee Wolfe and Presley Beistel and her sister, Doris Mears of Greensburg.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, from 2- 4 pm & 6- 8 pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 North Main Street Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Members of Order of the Eastern Star William Gelston #435 will be conducting a service at 6:30pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Services will be held on Thursday in the funeral home at 10 am with Rev. Gabor Nitsch officiating.

Internment will take place at St. Paul U.C.C. Cemetery in Trauger.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bethlan Home 66 Carey School Road, Ligonier PA 15658.
