Marion Theresa Horton, 84 of Acme, PA went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, September 9, 2012 in San Antonio, TX.
She was born March 6, 1928 in Pepperell, MA, daughter of the late Hazel Parker Denault.
She was a retired employee of Youngwood Electronic Metals in Youngwood, PA. Marion enjoyed spending time with her family and loved being surrounded by nature and all the wonderful wildlife in Bear Rocks, where she resided. She supported many foundations, some including the Disabled Veterans and National Wildlife.
In addition to her parents, Marion was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin M. Horton and son-in-law Chief Warrant Officer Robert J. Izzo, Jr.; brothers Wilfred Denault, James Denault, and Gilbert Denault; and sisters Hazel Whistler and Ella Volis.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Izzo of New Stanton, PA; grandson Matthew Izzo of Fort Wayne, IN and granddaughters, Danielle Miller and her husband Allen Miller of San Antonio, TX and Lindsay Walt and her husband David Walt of Ruffsdale, PA; great grandsons Caleb Izzo and Nathaniel Miller.
She is also survived by her brother, Stanley Michuk and his wife Mary Ann Michuk of Johnstown, PA and several nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 524 N. Main St. Greensburg, 15601 where a services will be held on Saturday at 10am with Pastor Curt Detar officiating.
Entombment will follow at Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
