Martha Minerva Crusan, 95 a lifelong resident of Greensburg, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at St. Anne Home.
She was born February 22, 1927 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late John E. Rugh and Grace Lauffer Rugh.
Martha was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and a member of the Phoebe Bayard Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Just out of high school, her first job was at Troutman's Department store in Greensburg. She later worked at Bell Telephone as an operator and prior to retirement, she worked as a switchboard operator for Monsour Hospital.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Crusan in 1983; daughter-in-law, Teresa J. Crusan; brother, John Wayne Rugh; and sister, Laura M. Wasil.
Surviving are her three sons, Charles B. Crusan of Mt. Pleasant; Gary Dean Crusan (Birgit) of Germany;and Ronald Lee Crusan (Sally) of Port Clyde, ME; eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, February 3rd from 11am to noon at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg.
Services will be held on Friday in the funeral home at 12pm. Private interment will be in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the ProMedica Hospice Memorial Fund.
