Mary Helen Kane, 81 of Greensburg, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2012 in her home.
She was born September 7, 1930 in New Kensington, daughter of the late Eugene and Mary Ann Peel Dovillers.
Mary was a member of First Baptist Church of Greensburg. She was employed by Troutmans Department Store and later Kaufman's until she retired.
She will be remembered for her unique sayings, love of playing cards and watching her grandchildren participate in sports.
Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Regis William Kane and brother William Dovillers.
Mary is survived by her children, Alan and wife, Karen M. Kane of Latrobe, Loren Kane at home, Mark and wife, Carrie Kane of Waukesha, WI, and Robert and wife, Karen Kane of Greensburg; grandchildren, Tara and Alana Kane and Mark and wife Ashley Kane and sisters in law, Lois McGarry , Maureen Kane and Mary Kerila and brother in law, Hugh Kane and several nieces and nephews across the country.
Family and friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4pm & 6 to 8 pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 North Main Street Greensburg, where services will be held on Monday at 10:30 am with Rev. Cliff Hockensmith officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg.
