Mary A. Rhody, 74 of Greensburg passed away on Tuesday May 20, 2014 in Mt. View Specialty Care.

She was born in Buckstown (Somerset Co.) on 6/25/1939 and was the daughter of the late James and Margaret (Krumenacker) DuBreucq. Mary graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary education from St. Francis College, Loretto, PA. She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. She sang for many years with the church choir and the Westmoreland Choral Society.

Mary inspired many individuals by volunteering her time and efforts throughout numerous community organizations.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers James, William and Bernard.

She is survived by her loving husband Robert E. Rhody and their children Robert W. (Daniela) Rhody, Michael T. Rhody, Margaret (Scott) Gray, Lawrence (Karen) Rhody and Timothy (Jody) Rhody, 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Her sisters Terri (George) Gelles, Peggy (Brad) Gindlesperger and a brother, Thomas (Connie) DuBreucq.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 4 to 8 PM at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg.

Parting Prayers will be held on Saturday in the funeral home at 9 am with a funeral mass to be celebrated at 9:30 am in the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral.

Interment will follow in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
