Mary Bryant Skoloda, 67, passed away peacefully December 1st at home surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born January 11,1951 in Beckley West Virginia . Mary met Mike Skoloda when he was a college student in West Virginia and after a whirlwind courtship they were married June 5, 1971. Mary left her beloved   “wild and wonderful” West Virginia to make a home and a family with Mike in Latrobe but never lost her recognizable accent. Mary was a devoted wife and mother whose door was always open. She was happiest hosting pool parties, barbecues, and sleepovers.  In addition, Mary loved her trips to the casino, traveling and cruising with her friends and family.  Mimi Mary, as she was known to her grandchildren, will be remembered for her laughter and the life lessons of kindness, generosity, and humor that she shared with all who knew her.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Ruth Bryant, and her brother in law Terry Patrick.
Mary leaves behind her husband of 47 years and best friend Mike Skoloda, two children Michelle and Chris Skoloda, daughter-in-law Stacy Gillespie Skoloda and her beloved grandchildren Malaya, Gianna, Sebastian, Gunner, Wyatt, and Aidan. Mary is also survived by her mother-in-law Genevieve Skoloda, her sister Jeanie Patrick, brother Harry Bryant and his wife Trish Bryant and her sister in law Linda Bowman and her husband Brett Bowman  as well as numerous relatives residing in West Virginia and other states.
