MaryAnn C. Bankosh, 79, of New Alexandria, passed away, Thursday, March 13, 2014 in Crest Personal Care Home. She was born September 11, 1934 in Cleveland, OH a daughter of the late Frank and Effie (Ceresi) Zingale.
MaryAnn was a loving homemaker caring for her family. Years ago, she worked as a cook for several local restaurants. She enjoyed bowling and playing cards with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald C. Bankosh.
She is survived by her children, Roy Sabelli; Tina Pina (Thomas); Frank Sabelli; Joseph Sabelli; Donna Marie Miskar; Diana Clark (Vincent); Donald Bankosh (Kathleen Zapone); Denise White (James); Daniel Bankosh (Anissa); David Bankosh (Lisa Short); 22 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Salvatore "Billy" Zingale and Richard and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Monday from 4 to 8 pm in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC. 524 N. Main St. Greensburg, where a blessing service will be held Tuesday at 11 am. Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Key Care Hospice for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Key Care Hospice 1500 Broad St. #3 Greensburg, Pa 15601 or The American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.
