Michael Jay Deni, Sr., 51 of Jeannette, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 4, 2014.
Born January 23, 1963 in Wilkinsburg, he was a son of Peggy Deni of FL and the lateThomas Deni, Sr.
Michael graduated from Gateway High School in 1982. He and his wife, Karen, lived together in Plum before relocating to Jeannette in 1997. He was passionate about coaching and helping children excel in sports. He demonstrated this through his involvement in various organizations including the Jeannette Midget Football Association.
He was the beloved husband of Karen (Ross) Deni; loving father of Michael J. Deni, Jr. (Beth) of Loyalhanna and Anthony Deni of Jeannette; brother of Thomas Deni Jr.; brother-in-law of Robert Ross, Mark Ross (Gina) and Sandy Ross; grandson of Richard Enterline and the late Loretta Enterline; nephew of Joanne Krynicky (Ron) and Richard Enterline; cousin of Sarah Ludwig (Terry) and Leah Krynicky; uncle of Jessie and Luke Deni; and friend to many including his dog, Kodie.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street Greensburg.
Services will be held at the funeral, following the visitation on Friday starting at 8pm with Rev. Martin Ankrum officiating.
Interment will take place in the Rural Valley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Michael J. Deni, Sr. Memorial Fund at any S&T Bank Branch.
