Mildred Josephine Haglund

Mildred 'Millie' Josephine Haglund, 87 of Greensburg, passed away on June 3, 2024.

She was born April 27, 1937 in Shenandoah, PA, the daughter of the late Harry and Beatrice Dower. She was raised in Eastern Pennsylvania. As a military wife, she lived in Alaska, Kentucky, and Maryland. After her husband's service in the military, she also lived in Western PA, New Mexico, and Texas.

Prior to retirement, Millie Haglund was a Registered Nurse. She loved the Lord Jesus. She was very active in the church teaching Sunday School, singing in the Choir, and teaching Children's church. Millie was also an avid reader.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rodger B Haglund, MD; grandson, Bradley Shaneyfelt; brothers, William Dower and James Dower; sister, Margaret "Peg" Addington; sister-in-law, Joanne Crouse.

Millie is survived by her daughters, Robyn (Haglund) Zorn and husband. Ron Zorn  of Beaver Falls, PA, Diane (Haglund) Shaneyfelt and husband, David Shaneyfelt of Hendersonville, NC, Penny Haglund of Matthews, NC, Judy (Haglund) Moore and husband Malcolm Moore of Mint Hill, NC; son, Rodger Haglund of Waco, TX; grandchildren, Jason Carrier, Sarah Crutchfield, Ryan Moore, Daniel Shaneyfelt, Zachary Nutter, Brienne Shaneyfelt, Aaron Zorn, and Tyler Zorn; 12 great-grandchildren; and multiple nieces and nephews.

Millie's family would like to extend special thanks to Marriane Parker, who has been a great help and support to her these last few years.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 11am until the time of service 1pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg, PA.
