Myrtle Worthy

March 31, 1916 — October 22, 2013

Myrtle T. Worthy, 97 of Greensburg, passed away, Tuesday, October 22, 2013 in Redstone Highlands.

She was born March 31, 1916 in High Park, PA, daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Reidmiller) Painter.

Myrtle was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Jeannette, Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #8960 in Jeannette, Order of Amaranth, Inc. Chapter 3572, and American Association of Retired Persons.

Besides her parents, Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence A. Worthy, Sr. and by her brothers and sisters.

Surviving are her daughter, Donna R. Henry and husband, Thomas of Richmond, VA, her son, Lawrence Worthy and wife, Beverly of Ford City, grandchildren, Thomas 'Chip' Henry, Jr. and wife Laura, Scott Henry and wife Katie, Kimberly Gunn, Tammy BiaLowas and Lori McCollough, and six great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 6-8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 North Main Street Greensburg where services will be held on Saturday at 10amwith Pastor Susan Luttner officiating.

Interment will follow in the Brush Creek Cemetery.

In leiu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 211 Gaskill Avenue, Jeannette, PA 15644.
