Naomi Levinson

May 14, 1925 — December 25, 2020

Naomi Ruth Levinson, 95 of Jeannette, died, Friday, December 25, 2020 in Brookdale Senior Living.  She was born May 14, 1925 in Jeannette, the daughter of the late William and Genevieve (Guy) Gaskell.

Naomi was known by many as an avid bridge player.  She was awarded the title of Life Master from the American Contract Bridge League. Bridge was her passion: She enjoyed the challenge of the game as well as her fellow players.

In addition to her parents and her stepmother Helen Gaskell, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Paul Levinson.

Surviving are her daughter, Renee Levinson, son, Michael Levinson and his wife Amy.  She also has two grandchildren, Melissa Levinson and Adam Levinson, a niece Lauren (Gaskell) Hawse, nephews, Guy Gaskell and Jere Cohen and her brother Vernon Gaskell.

Her family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Brookdale (Latrobe), Grane Hospice Care and Senior Helpers for their wonderful care of Naomi.

Honoring Naomi's wishes services will be private. Interment will be in Homewood Cemetery, Pittsburgh.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Westmoreland Museum of American Art.
