Norma Perkins

Norma L. Perkins , 92 of Greensburg passed away on Friday July 26, 2013 in the Excela Westmoreland Hospital.
She was born on August 16,1920 in Jerusalem, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Roy and Harriet Conaway Thomas.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John in 2004 and two brothers, Beryl and Delbert Thomas, a son-in-law William Trice and a grandson Curtis Perkins.
Norma had retired from the former Troutman's Department Store where she worked in the cash office. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Greensburg and the United Methodist Women, serving several years as a circle chairwomen and treasurer.
She was an accomplished seamstress and was involved in the Squares and Prayers at the church and also the Bear Buddy program which made Teddy Bears for the hospice organization.
Norma is survived by her son Ronald Perkins and wife Judy of Leesburg, Fl. and three daughters, Harriet Trice, Barbara Leeper and Nancy Adams and her husband John all of Greensburg along with eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren , a brother Robert Thomas of Bridgeport, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Kepple-Graft Funeral Home, 524 N. Main Street, Greensburg.
Services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:30 am.
Interment will follow in the Westmoreland Co. Memorial Park.
