Norma Jean (Weightman) Seabury, beloved wife and mother, met her Savior face to face on Friday, July 19, 2013 while in Poquoson, VA with her family by her side.
She was the daughter of the late Lawrence A. and Tirzah E. Weightman.
Norma was a lifelong member of the South Greensburg United Methodist Church. Even though she lived in Virginia the past five years, "Normie's" heart was always in Pennsylvania with her home, family, and dearly loved friends. Her greatest joy was in being a Grandmother to her nine grandchildren. Norma will be remembered for her faith, love, generosity, and sense of humor. She diligently sought to ALWAYS find the perfect gift for those whom she loved.
Besides her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Seabury, Jr., daughter-in-law, Serena M. (Zazado) Seabury, grandson, Charles E. Seabury, III and brother, Wayne A. Weightman.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Christine L. Marshall (Robert) of Poquoson, VA; son Jeffrey E. Seabury, Sr. (Melissa) of Uniontown, PA and grandchildren, Stephanie H., Robert C., III, Elizabeth J., Addyson M Marshall; and Tirzah E., Jeffrey E. Jr., Emma E. and Tegan A. Seabury. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Sara (Seabury) Carns, Nancy (Seabury) Freeman, and Mary Lou (Weightman) Alcorn and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the KEPPLE-GRAFT Funeral Home, 524 North Main Street Greensburg.
Additional visitation will be held on Thursday starting at 10:30am until the time of the service at 11am at South Greensburg United Methodist Church.
Interment will follow in the
Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
