Olga Frenchek

November 3, 1919 — December 3, 2012

Olga (Dyky) Frenchek, 93 of Greensburg, passed away, Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at her home. She was born Nov. 3, 1919, in Monessen, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Trojanowsky Dyky. She retired from Westmoreland Hospital as a licensed practical nurse after many years of service. Olga was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Greensburg. She enjoyed writing poetry working on crossword puzzles and most of all cooking for her family.

In addition to her parents, Olga was preceded in death by her husband, Chester B. Frenchek, in 1991; a sister, Mary Palmer; three brothers, Andrew, John and Walter Dyky; and son-in-law, Robert Grocutt.

Surviving are her children, Matrona Seybold and husband, Douglas, of Ohio, Barbara Choma ad husband, Paul, of Ohio, Kathleen Lalor and husband, Tim, of Apollo, Judith Grocutt, of Greensburg, Michael Frenchek and wife, Christine, of Elizabethtown, Thomas Frenchek and wife, Karin, of Greensburg; a sister, Ann Dankosky, of Monessen; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews; and two sisters-in-law, Jean Dyky and Anne Dyky, both of Monessen.

Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11:15 a.m. Friday at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, (an authorized remembrance provider) 524 North Main St., Greensburg. Services will begin at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Christ Church, 145 N. Main St., Greensburg. Interment will follow in the Twin Valley Memorial Park.
