Patricia Brodahl

Patricia R. Brodahl, 83, of Greensburg, recently of Huffman, Texas, passed away Friday, June 10, 2016. She was born August 26, 1932 in Wilmerding a daughter of the late Clifford and Adda (Biggs) Simpson.

Mrs. Brodahl was an instructor of Home Economics at Seton Hill College for 13 years.  She was a graduate of Westinghouse Memorial High School, Seton Hill College and earned a Master’s of Education degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  She was a member of Faith Methodist Church, Delmont and during her 20 year retirement in Florida she enjoyed golfing, boating, and dancing, along with traveling throughout the United States and Europe.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Gilbert Brodahl; a daughter in law, Pastor Debbie Hohman Brodahl and a brother in law, Robert R. Forman.

She is survived by her three sons, John Brodahl and Janet of Greensburg;  Thomas Brodahl and wife Laurie of Fort Wayne, IN;  and Daniel Brodahl and wife Patrice of Huffman, TX; grandchildren, Wendy O’Brien (Casey), Christy Makdad (Michael), Matthew Brodahl (Elizabeth), Mark Brodahl (Melissa), Katelyn Law (Brian), Rita Brodahl and Scott Brodahl; great grandchildren, Faith and Audrey Johns, Dean Makdad, Gavin, Grant and Grace O’Brien, Lily, Rhett and June Brodahl and Eleanor Law;  a brother, Clifford James Simpson (Modeska Mikesell) and a sister, Joanne Simpson Forman.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 4 to 7 pm in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, INC. 524 N.
