Patricia B. Funari, 89, of Greensburg, died peacefully, Monday, March 15, 2010, at Select Specialty Hospital in Latrobe.
She was born on July 19, 1920, a daughter of the late Patrick and Daisy Bradley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred J. Funari. She was also preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.
Patty was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. She was also a member of the Westmoreland Hospital Women's Auxilary which sponsored the Doll House Show annually. Before her illness, she loved to golf, bowl, play bridge, and brag about her grandchildren.
Patty is survived by her sister, Susan, 93 of Uniontown. She is also survived by her two sons: Fred (Chip) Funari and wife, Joann (Josie) of Greensburg, Robert Funari and wife, Susan of Gettysburg, and her twin daughters, Cathleen Funari Lennon and husband, James (Terry) of Raleigh, NC and Carolyn Funari Radkowski and husband, Dennis of Greensburg. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren who were so very special to her. They are Dr. Bryan (B.J.) Funari and wife, Dana of Greensburg, Brad Funari and wife, Mira of Murrysville, Jennifer Funari Anderson and husband, Kris of Pittsburgh, Stephen Funari of Gettysburg, Laura Funari Salter and husband Joel of Charlotte, NC, Collen Lennon of Raleigh, NC, Patrick Lennon and wife, Sura of North Yarmouth, ME, Dr. Christopher Radkowski and wife, Amy of Trafford, Dr. Matthew Radkowski and wife, Marsha of Johnstown, and Kevin Radkowski and wife, Bobbe Jo of Pittsburgh. Patty also had 12 great-grandchildren.
The family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday in the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME, 524 N. Main St., Greensburg. A Prayer Service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass to celebrate Patty's life at 9:30 a.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral.
Interment will follow in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
